Jay-Z played to a record crowd and he took the opportunity to address the comments from Noel Gallagher (of Oasis) when he said Jay-Z was wrong for the festival by coming out to Oasis’ 1995 hit Wonderwall.
Jay-Z performance has had a positive effect on the charts. Both 99 Problems and Numb/Encore (with Linkin Park) has entered into the UK Top 40 Singles chart. Even Oasis has benefited from Jay-Z performance as both What’s The Story Morning Glory and Stop The Clocks as re-entered the album charts.
Another Fight Involving Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse attacked a fan at the Glastonbury festival. There are conflicting reports on what started the fight, but most agree that it started when a fan either touched or threw something at Amy while she was performing. The fan that was hit said that he was not the one causing trouble, but he got caught up in the melee. The fan said he would not file charges against Amy and at the end of the day he enjoyed the chance of seeing Amy perform.
Nate Dogg Charged With Stalking
LA prosecutors have charged Nate Dogg with stalking. This links back to an incident from last month when Nate’s wife told police that Nate followed and chased her on the freeway and made threats against her. Nate was also charged with making criminal threats and driving with a suspended license. Nate’s lawyer said that Nate has gone through a tough year, but that he is working to get through it.
Xzibit’s Next Film Role
Rapper Xzibit will be joining the cast of Bad Lieutenant. The film stars Nic Cage and Val Kilmer. Xzibit will play a villain. Filming begins this summer. Xzibit is no stranger to the big screen. He has been in Derailed and Gridiron Gang and is also in the new X-Files movie. He was also the host of Pimp My Ride.
50 Cent Reacts To Ex-Girlfriend’s Accusations
50 Cents ex-girlfriend and mother to his child has said that she believes that 50 may have had a hand in a fire that burned down the house where she lives with her son. 50’s ex filed a restraining order against him and he has not seen his son as there is a custody battle. 50 said that he had nothing to do with the fire and that he was filming in Louisiana. 50 said that the idea that he could have anything to do with the fire is ridiculous and that he is happy and thankful that no one was hurt.
50 said that he does not want to say anything bad against his ex as he does not want to expose his son to negative energy. 50 said he hopes that all these matters can be resolved soon so he can see his son again and he can be an equal partner with his ex.
Kanye Is Not Going To Anger Management
A story broke that Kanye was going to anger management classes to control his public tantrums, but Kanye said that these are just rumors. Personally, I am happy as there is nothing like a good Kanye rant.
