The name Darren Hayes may not register at first, but his songs will. Darren was one half of Savage Garden and had huge hits with “I Knew I Loved” and “Truly, Madly, Deeply”.

Once Savage Garden broke up, Darren didn’t stay home, he created a successful solo career. Darren has sold over 26 million albums and had five number one singles. Also a smart businessman, Darren started his own record label, Powdered Sugar Productions.

This DVD was recorded in Darren’s hometown of Brisbane, Australia and you can see the excitement as he plays to the crowd. Darren performs songs from his double album “This Delicate Thing We’ve Made Tour”. Visually the show is stunning. The costumes were made by designers from the Royal Shakespeare Company and the sets were done by the same people who have worked with U2 and George Michael. The ringmaster of all this is Willie Williams, who has worked with U2 and The Rolling Stones on their show.

They told him not to built, but he built it and the crowds came and I think you will be glad you came as well.
