The Wicked (2008)

Wicked Pictures has adapted to the age we live in. Providing a digital copy of the feature to be downloaded directly to your computer is a great way to take your favorite contract girls with you whenever and wherever you go. Because Chicks With Guns also wants to be on the cutting edge, this film was viewed and reviewed on an iPod. First off, Kaylani Lei is stunning in this film. Her character makes sense in the film and she gives a great performance. Mikayla Mendez and Sophia Santi heat up beautifully, and in full goth regalia. It’s difficult to say whether they pull it off though. They both look like they have a dark side, but it’s not certain whether they look best with or without it. The real major standout in “The Wicked” is relative newcomer Tori Black. She brings out the middle-America charm and still manages to deliver a veteran appearance. All in all, “The Wicked” is a gem both for the film, as well as for the technology.

What Girls Like (2008)

“What Girls Like” is Jessica Drake’s solo directorial debut. Because of this, the film has a female sensibility not always present in adult films. A woman’s touch if you will. The tones are softer and the action is more sensual. Cast the likes of Daisy Marie in the film as she writhes and consumes men whole, and the scene is stolen. Wait! For good measure, tattooed Latin bombshell Mikayla Mendez not only stimulates the sense of sight, but also the sense of sound as she speaks in Spanish and turns on the auditory charm. Lastly, amazingly framed Alektra Blue stands out as one of the highlights of this film as she fervently devours Sammie Rhodes as they use each other as living canvases. The true prize resides in the bonus features though. Find the solo scene of Jessica Drake and you’ve found a moment in adult film history.

The Trouble With Young Girls (2008)

Yeah, such a trouble with these young girls. It’s such a problem that Alektra Blue finally smiles in a film. She literally smiles. I didn’t think she had it in her, but I guess she does. It suits her too. The “sexy” look defined by squinting and perking ones lips is pretty passé and overdone. Thankfully this film depicts youthful ladies looking as they would normally. Scene stealer Tori Black does it again in yet another film as she turns out a performance fit for an AVN award. This young starlet is either that much of a natural at seduction with a camera present, or she doesn’t know how sexy she really is in a three way connection. A close second is Britney Amber as she takes a fine ride in a denim skirt that rides high above the hem. The truest surprise is the all girl dream team of Lindsey Meadows, Franziska Facella and Shawna Lenee as they actually make it difficult to turn away from the steamy action. Directed by Randy Spears, who has spent years in the business, “The Trouble With Young Girls” succeeds because it plays to the senses. Youthful and active ladies performing mischievous acts reminds us the appeal of years past.

Angelina Valentine and Gianna Lynn are stunning on their own. What with their long dark hair and tattoos and pouty lips. You may wonder what would happen if they appeared together. Well, they do here in “Tits A Holics” and they are leave viewers speechless. It’s not certain how the pairing came to be, but two brunettes with tattoos and appetites for getting each other off is adult film history in the making. Together Valentine and Lynn are worth this films’ weight in gold. Carly Parker wins over this reviewer though. Her short blonde hair and glasses brings a new dynamic to adult films. Yes, we’ve seen short hair and glasses elsewhere, but Parker brings the sexy librarian image to mind with her luscious mammary glands as she is twice the fun in double the places. Lastly, Michelle McLaren’s pierced nipples are a nice touch to this film. It’s been a while since we’ve last seen nipple piercings, so it’s a fine return to form as they accentuate any breast. Chicks With Guns approved.

Tera Goes Gonzo (2008)

Wow, Tera Patrick really is insatiable. From frolicking in a pool to playing with her friends, she really knows how to work the camera. To embody sex the way she does is something you rarely see in adult films anymore. In fact, it’s something you really only recall in stars like Jane Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe, etc. It’s refreshing to see it in adult films actually. I could go on and on about Tera though. Daisy Marie steals the show too. Her small tattooed frame is complimentary to Evan Seinfeld’s inked canvas as the two put on a steamy performance. Lastly, we see a return to form from a favorite, Stefani Morgan. The petite blonde has always intrigued us as the girl next door appeal mixed with stardom. Most impressive about Morgan is her all natural body and her even more positive disposition. It’s always nice to see a starlet that doesn’t take herself too seriously and doesn’t have to act sexy all the time. After all, it’s by not “acting” sexy that makes Stefani Morgan so damn sexy! She just is.

The cover art for “Smokin’ Hot Blondes” says it all about Evan Seinfeld, “living the life most men dream of.” This may very well be true. He’s married to the voracious Tera Patrick and he’s found his way inside Teagan Presley. He may indeed be living the dream! Teagan kicks off the film as she brings her approachability to the screen without contempt. Showing her agility, she gets the right amount of sweat, mixed with light and sex, to glisten perfectly as a smokin’ hot blonde. Perfect ten Britney Amber manages to bring her Southern belle look and make it the right amount of dirty. Seriously, Britney may be the most perfect face and body in adult films right now. She rivals any others and seems to take her explicit scenes to a classy level, incorporating a smile here and there. It’s refreshing to see someone actually enjoying themselves in adult films. But it’s Lexi Belle who steps up. She has a youthful look to her and she’s as flexible as they come. Simply amazing. Thank goodness for the reverse cowgirl in every chapter; giving you the best point of view at each smokin’ hot blonde.

Se7en Deadly Sins (2008)

Seven scenes with seven different stars. Genius. Let’s start with the back alley tryst Rebeca Linares engages in as she tugs and pulls a leather-clad submissive in the dark of night. Really, this scene is the kind you watch as you fear for what’s next. Stop by the boiler room for action with Daisy Marie as the beauty pushes limits and boundaries on hot and steamy adult fun. Closing the Latin trifecta is the glamorous Mikayla Mendez (CWG’s favorite Wicked girl). There’s really not enough that can be said about the glory Mikayla exudes. The only thing that comes to mind about the brunette’s beauty and ravenous appetite for carnal pleasure is the INXS song, “So slide over here, And give me a moment. Your moves are so raw. I've got to let you know, You're one of my kind.” Let’s not forget Alexis Texas though. Her scene is sublime and rife with Texas’ assets, which she knows how to put to good use, no matter what the situation. Production-wise, this film is on par with a Hollywood project. The look and feel is grimy like Seven or Sin City. Had those films had this beautiful, sexually-charged cast, who knows where the world would be!

“Race 2 Race” is an interesting concept. Adding the interactivity element to adult films is common, but this time it’s not just interactive, it’s fashioned after a game. You can watch “Race 2 Race” in the interactive setting, or you can watch it traditionally like any other film. Either way, you come away seeing Victoria Sin in an interracial union that opens more than one entry. And she looks incredible doing it! Then there’s Jasmine Byrne who you can’t get out of your mind. It’s pretty amazing how someone can be so perfect, and yet make her scenes look so sultry and natural. The MVP of the race to the end is Maya Gates. Maya and Nyomi Banxxx take turns being the object of affection in a love triangle only solvable through giving in to carnal desires. Banxxx adds her own flavor in the scene too, making it so worth while. Keeping her look seductive and debonair, she evens out the Gates/Banxxx continuum and makes “Race 2 Race” a game simulation experience not soon to be forgotten.

Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge (2008)

When you watch a film like P2, you tend to forget what genre it’s in. You tend to marvel at the production and quality. You scrutinize the special effects. You ponder what it cost to build the sets. P2 totes the largest budget in adult film history, and with good reason/result. It also garners bragging rights for the most beautiful women in the world, also with good reason. The ladies in this film are scorching hot and can be seen in (and out of) some accurate historical apparel. Standout performances that make P2 not just your run of the mill adult film are Riley Steele, a newcomer to the business, brings the girl next door vibe to the screen and honestly just makes a great entrance to the industry. The lovely Gabriella Fox is also a pleasure to watch. Keep an eye out for the beautiful Shay Jordan to light up the screen with Steve St. Croix and Jesse Jane’s fierce and frantic scene with Belladonna. A true visual stimulant in an otherwise tame era of adult films.

One Wild & Crazy Night (2008)

What an ensemble cast! It’s quite exhilarating when some of the best actors in the world share the screen. We all went nuts when DeNiro and Pacino appeared in the Godfather Part II together. We went nuts when they appeared in Heat together. It’s kind of the same thing here. The film opens with a scene from the lovely and busty Memphis Monroe. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think she was having fun, and work came a distant second. And what’s there to say about our director Stormy Daniels? Well, there is no doubt Stormy is a knockout. No one will contest that. But Stormy’s true appeal and essence comes from the fact that she is not tiny and waifish, rather a perfect, normal size (5’7”). Keep watching though as Nautica Thorn’s bathroom romp is definitely worth the viewing. Unsettling as it may be, the scene is a must see and defines “wild and crazy” by any standards.

There’s a great deal in the “Obscene Behavior” series that makes my eyes widen. I honestly didn’t think the film would live up to the name. It does. It really does. Cute as a button Robyn Truelove finds her way into toe-sucking, which to be perfectly honest, is a feat (no pun intended) all by itself. Kenzie is downright beautiful, yet she finds herself in obscene and compromising situations. And of course Charisma, found A-T-M on the cover of this film, is as disturbingly seductive as she is experimental. The “Obscene Behavior” series really isn’t for the faint of heart. Watching this film is a practice in restraint for all that is traditional in the adult film world. Is it engaging? Of course it is. Is it a wee bit troubling at times? Of course it is. Will you watch it over and over again? Of course you will; because you’re dirty, and that’s why we love you.

Nikki Jayne became our favorite starlet in 2007. Since her last outing, Jayne has signed to Vivid Entertainment and upped the ante in the adult film industry. Again resurrecting a gonzo-esque style of filming, the film is shot in documentary style as Jayne speaks directly to the camera along with fellow starlets Meggan Malone and Veronique Vega. Jayne has done it again though. She bends rules and uses the camera as her truest motivation to expose her exciting passions and appetite for sex. The last time we have seen such a charismatic performer hit the screen was a young Jenna Jameson who ultimately utilized her position to market herself. Nikki Jayne is really no different. We can only imagine what she will tackle next, but we can be sure that it will be explicit, entertaining, and best of all, it will have Nikki in it, speaking in an accent and making all those who see her melt with desire.

This film does not depict group sex or point-of-view angles. This film does have Alexis in six scenes that are all scorching hot, focusing on her massive gluteus maximus that directs the scenes itself. Good thing too since it is smart to focus on itself and leave storylines a far second. “I Love Alexis Texas” is a worthwhile film if you’re a fan of seeing a beautiful woman in compromising positions. Not too risqué and not too tame, this is the bowl of porridge that is just right.

Fallen (2008)

As an adult film, “Fallen” doesn’t fall short. In fact it leaves many others behind. Storylines from director Brad Armstrong always tend to have conflict. Resolvable conflict, but conflict nonetheless. Of course the director enlists knockout Jessica Drake (his real life wife since 2006) for lead duties. Together, the pair makes this adult film believable and sensual despite the explicit nature. Opening the film is the always insatiable Jenna Haze in a downright impressive and alluring scene. If Hollywood would take a cue from Miss Haze, we wouldn’t sit through so much back story at the theaters. Turn the spotlight on Hunter Bryce for a moment. Her performance in the film version of “Fallen” pales in comparison to the peep show she carries out in the extras on the disc. And yes, welcome to the extras. The good, good folks at Wicked Pictures get it, added value! “Fallen” comes in a four disc collectors set with a return to long-box cases. Of course one disc holds the feature, a second disc holds special features and the third is bonuses. Leave it to Wicked to toss in a sampler of their best, most recent films to entice John Q. Customer. Sold! And for anyone who would like to take their erotica on the move with them, “Fallen” also contains a digital copy of the film, ready for download to your computer, laptop or portable video player device.

The often smiley Reid is an amazing stunner in this film. The surprise performance comes from Addison Rose though, as she performs in a sauna. Rose is the beautiful girl next door that always looked a little naughty. She reminds you of the girl that moves in and is almost coquettish with you without trying.

Based on colors alone, this release is worth buying in Blu Ray format. By increasing the quality of the film, the release is more a winner than before. Florida-born Lela Starr is amazing in this film. Since this film’s release, Lela has hit the big time and signed on with Club Jenna, but this is one of the untapped outings that is worth the purchase. This film shows Lela still early in her ascension in the industry. This film also shows Lela with a virtually clean slate of a body before implants (34C to 36C in Summer of 2007) and calogen injected lips. Still considered one of the hottest bodies in the industry, Lela shows all her natural assets in this film, leaving onlookers wondering why she tried to fix something already that's perfect. Other standouts in this film are the Rose sisters (in separate scenes) as they light up each frame. The truest gem has to be Ava Rose in a savage and frantic performance that rides the line between intriguing and disturbing. You be the judge.
